If Tranzit gets remade with the smaller playable areas (Farm, Town, ...) working as individual maps like in BO2, they should make "Nacht der Untoten" it's own full map alongside the other areas.

    The Giant Intro Analysis/Discussion

    Posted: 16 Sep 2019 09:50 AM PDT

I really hope DLC4 finally explains just what the hell is going on in this map and when it's set, as very little makes sense and it's been driving me crazy for years. The radios, the dialogue, the plane from MotD on the roof, what Richtofen does to the body, the fact that the zombie outbreak isn't supposed to occur there until the following day. The whole thing is just a giant riddle right now, and I'll be massively disappointed if we don't get any closure in DLC 4.

Today I've mostly been thinking about the intro, so I wanted to take a bit of a deeper look at that alone:

Before diving into the actual intro itself let's look at what we know about why we're here. Primis were transported from Dimension 63 to 1943 in the original timeline (according to the Kronorium) by Samantha. They formulate a plan to stop this dimension's Richtofen to "prevent the events that are about to unfold". Although we don't know anything about the specifics of this plan. As The Giant takes place in 1945 that leaves 2 years which are unaccounted for. The timeline shows them jumping directly from there to The Giant in 1945. Do they skip those two years by jumping straight there? Do they wait them out? Do they go elsewhere in-between, and if so, how do they do it without Richtofen? Furthermore, why can't they execute this plan in 1943?

    ---

Onto the intro itself, Ultimis Richtofen asks Primis "Do you know... who I am!?" and Dempsey replies "Yeah, we know." Weird, as they wouldn't have met this version of him before. I mean maybe they've been spying on him so have seen him, but there's no "You look a little older/different, but yeah, we know.". Also from UR's point of view, should he not know who they were? He's not surprised or confused that his test subjects are free and have guns pointed at him?

    ---

Nikolai says "A great evil approaches. There is a chain of events that must be set in motion." Firstly, what great evil? They don't yet know about Monty/The Shadowman. Do they just mean the zombies in general? And what chain of events? I thought they were there to stop a chain of events from happening?

    ---

We then hear the zombie hoard outside. Weird, as the outbreak doesn't occurs until the following day in the original timeline. For what reason is it now happening a day earlier?

    ---

Takeo says "You must awaken the test subjects." but why? UR is going to wake them up literally the following day, it's not something he needs to be told to do at gunpoint. And this is despite the fact that Maxis told PR (unbeknownst to the others) that the test subjects must never be allowed to be awakened.

    ---

U Richtofen then starts activating the teleporter, but why? Originally, after teleporting Sam, Maxis and Fluffy he teleports himself to the Moon. But that doesn't seem to be his game-plan here.

    ---

Nik and Tak then say "You do not want to meet what's on the other side of that door!" "You cannot begin to comprehend the great evil you could unleash". Do they know who's on the other side and what's about to go down? Another reference to the "great evil", as it's Primis Richtofen who appears is this foreshadowing future events?

    ---

We then of course have the arrival of P Richtofen who promptly shoots U Richtofen in the head. UR does not looked in the least bit surprised, shocked or amazed to see his counterpart which is weird. The only likely explanation is that the two of them met previously and devised a plan. But a plan to do what, we don't yet know.

    ---

Tank says "Dammit Richtofen, I thought we were done with this!" but as far as we're aware this is the first time that this has happened to them (though we don't know what happened in those 2 missing years).

    ---

Nik says "Only a fool would dare to change history!" but is that not why they were there in the first place?!

So much about this is just weird and I know I may have been nitpicking certain things but I wanted to delve into the intro piece by piece. I'm hoping DLC4 finally gives us some answers.

Why Victis was placed in the stasis pods beneath Alcatraz!

    Posted: 15 Sep 2019 11:38 PM PDT

Why Victis was placed in the stasis pods beneath Alcatraz!

The last cipher in the final Zombies Comic Book (#6) reads "The cycle begins". It is shown at the exact moment the the Transit crew makes the decision to step through the portal with Richtofen and go back in time to 1941 and placed on "ice" in the stasis pods. The lab under Alcatraz was created specifically to place Victis on ice. It is Richtofen's version of "Monty's Plan" listed in the zombie chronicles timeline map. "A new reality can be created if he enlists the aid of souls who had lived through and survived the fracturing". Richtofen takes Victis back in time to July 4th 1941, ONE DAY after Stanley Ferguson informs Richtofen that "the laboratory has been completed and the subjects will be placed in the stasis chambers upon arrival". This is significant because the fracturing does not occur until four years later. There Victis will remain on ice until the "Final World Arrives"

The likelihood of BO4s "leaked" chronicle packs

    Posted: 16 Sep 2019 09:05 AM PDT

To date, there have been three "chronicle" packs that have supposedly been leaked. Victis chronicles, a ported version of the original chronicles, and BO3 chronicles. I want to go over the likelihood of each of these map packs, and whether you should look forward to them.

VICTIS CHRONICLES: This is the pack that is at the forefront of debate right now, so i want to address this first. There is strong evidence in the game to suggest that there will be a remake pack for victis. There is code in the files that suggest a "dlc5" (classified is dlc0), as well as a sixth pack slot in the store in-game. I would say this is by far the most likely to come to the game, and will have BO4s perk system to those who are wanting BO2s perks.

ORIGINAL CHRONICLES: Its been a while since this was mentioned, however it has started to resurface and id like to cover it a little bit. While there is no evidence in the game to suggest another map pack besides dlc5, the amount of space still left in map menu definitely hints at the fact that the maps could, or were going to, return again. If im not mistaken, i believe the original chronicles was made on BO4s engine pre-blackout (which is why they look so good), so all they would need to do is add the new perk machines and remove the gobblegum machines. I think this pack is likely, however it could have been scrapped late in development because of COD 2020.

BO3 CHRONICLES: This was mentioned briefly at one point early in BO4s cycle, however its gone silent ever since. Supposedly, BO3s maps were also supposed to be ported over, but due to the confliction of specialist weapons and easter eggs, as well as being fairly recent maps, the pack was either scrapped or was never a thing to begin with.

So what do you think? Which would you like to see most and which do you think are the most likely to come to BO4?

Origins is by far my favorite map of all time. Always feels good to go back and do the Easter egg again!

Regarding the unusable gobblegums due to buying seperate map packs.

    Posted: 16 Sep 2019 08:43 AM PDT

Because i have bought the map packs seperate i am unable to use DLC3's and DLC4's Whimsical Gobblegums.

So due to technical limitations I can't get something that i should be having from the start.

What are your thoughts reddit ?

    Email from Activision:

    Hello Equalz,

Sorry to hear you keep having trouble with the gubblegums. I hate being the bearer of bad news here but unfortunately, due to the age of the game we do have some technical limitations, therefore, there's not much we can do about this. I wish we could provide you more details about why you can't use them but I'm afraid there's not much we can do.

Please let us know if there are any other matters we can assist you.

    Best regards,

    Andres M.Activision Player Support

*Edit: I have all the DLC's. All zombie maps. I do not have the season pass. IF I however buy the season pass i am able to use the gobblegums which im not planning on doing.

    Welling headshot tips?

    Posted: 16 Sep 2019 07:26 AM PDT

I've seen an old post saying that if you shoot a horde with the death of Orion and pull out the welling that the kills you get count as headshots for that gun. Does this still work? If not what are some strategies you guys used to complete it?

    New Origins ending cutscene theory....

    Posted: 16 Sep 2019 12:21 PM PDT

So I just finished the Origins cutscene and thought of something. What if it takes place after the Alpha Omega Easter Egg. The cutscene shows only Eddie and Samantha. You hear a siren similiar to Nuketown and they are called down by Maxis. This is probably to teleport them to Nuketown since Dr.Monty is there to kill them. The only thing that doesn't add up is the way Samantha speaks. In the cutscene it's perfect english but all during BO4 it's a German accent. The other three kids aren't there hinting that their souls haven't been sent to the house yet. I don't know if it was already confirmed when this cutscene takes place or why Samantha speaks the way she does in BO4 but give me your thoughts. I wanna know what you think.

Hello guys, simple question : are the staff still a thing ? There was this theory running about the fact the we are using the shards to built real staff (fire from botd, purple(?) from Rev, elec from AO, ice from TDT ?)
