Converting points to USD as best as possible.

    Posted: 13 Aug 2020 10:27 AM PDT

So a few months back, someone commented on a post for a conversion of points to Usd, i told him that but i wanted to fix that math up and make it more a little better of a post
Firstly it is important to know the earliest period of time we see perk machines, which should be 1918 (origins) i'm pretty sure this is the earliest (correct me if im wrong about this, i'll gladly fix it) and we see that out of the 5 perk machines, only 2 actually have price tags, mule kick(10 cents) and juggernog (also 10 cents)
so the big question is which one do we count and which do we disregard?. well thats a bit more difficult than it may seem But its leaning towards juggernog and not mule kick, as mule kick is a cocktail, which wouldn't be served in a vending machine, and most likely not to france/german soldiers. So we'll crown juggernog as being more accurate, but i will do the math for both
    Juggernog (most accurate)
so in 1918 it is 2500 points equals 10¢ this means the exact ratio (In 1918 is 250 ZP= 1 Cent)
adjusting for inflation 10 cents in 1918 is actually 1.72 USD
which in (2020 means that approx 15 ZP = 1 Cent)
    Mule kick (Less accurate)
essentially the same method as juggernog so i'll just give you the numbers
    (1918- 1000 points=1 cent)
    (2020- Approx 23 ZP = 1 cent)
Keep in mind this is assuming Zpoints havn't inflated or deflated, which since we see the price of juggernog never changes in ZP is a pretty safe assumption.
If there any flaws i made let me know :)
also i think discussion flair fits this, either that or creative idk this may be deleted cause of that

How would y’all feel about a zombies storyline reboot (same characters different story) similar to the MW campaign?

    Posted: 13 Aug 2020 07:18 AM PDT

In my opinion I feel like this would be the best way for everyone to love the same characters we have always had but at the same time keep the game and strong fresh? I also think they should leave the Aether story how it is.

(Haven't been on this sub in a while so idk how many times this was brought up)

Am I the only one that doesn't care about puzzles and buildables and just wants to enjoy killing some zombies?

    Posted: 13 Aug 2020 03:58 AM PDT

Over time I started getting sick of zombies, I miss when the game was just about surviving as long as possible, figuring out the best way to survive and just HAVE FUN.

When I start playing the later titles with Zombies mode it just feels like it's more focused on doing those buildables and doing some sort of mission or puzzle that you need a fucking 20 minute guide that you need to rerun over and over again to understand, I have NEVER found the fun in it at all#

I can't play with anyone online because 90% of the time it's just these buzzkills that want to do the specific puzzle on a map which is so cryptic that I actually can't fathom how someone can have fun and it feels more like a chore if anything.

Does anyone else feel the same? I just like to kill some zombies on a well-made map and have some casual mindless fun, when you over-complicate things the whole gamemode loses it's charm in my opinion.

Can someone explain the love for bo4

    Posted: 12 Aug 2020 11:28 PM PDT

Whenever I look at or play bo4 it just feels like a scuffed version of zombies. The zombie movement and pathing is bad, the fact that zombies health maxes out makes wonder weapons useless compared to the helionsalvo with phd. The new perks feel less like a requirement and more optional. The fact that you can customize your starting weapon to be a wall weapon ruins the progression from start to end. The specialist weapons make being cornered impossible. The only good thing I can think of bo4 doing was the adjustment to carpenters and max ammos. Imo i think all original bo4 maps would be better on bo3. I'm just asking for someone to put up a case for this game, because I can't find one but I still see people defending it

    A Guide for New Players

    Posted: 13 Aug 2020 03:34 AM PDT

*I made a list of maps from easiest to hardest for new players. It is not based on which are better or worse; just which are easier. A few things I should clear up first.*

    1. Maps listed more than once means that they have been remade in a different game.

    2. I am not stating this as fact. I may be completely wrong on this.

    3. However, this is mostly my opinion. I have tried my best to be objective, but sometimes a little personal experience can help.

    4. Building on the last point, I must say I have not played every version of every map. I have not played BO1 Der Riese, WaW Verruckt, etc. However, I have played remasters of all these maps, and I have played every game, so I know layouts, and I know the systems for those games. On top of that, I have watched gameplay of all these maps, from varying skill levels.

    5. This is Treyarch only. I have only seen gameplay of other games, but have not played them and therefore I do not know the systems. Treyarch Zombies games include World at War, Black Ops, Black Ops 2, Black Ops 3, and Black Ops 4. If you have played maps from Infinity Ward and Sledgehammer Games, please make lists similar to these in the comments for the maps they have made.

    6. While this list is for new players, most new players will not have all the DLC for every game. Just use the list for what maps you do have; the list will still work.

    7. This includes bugs and glitches. This needs to be kept in mind, as some maps (looking at you, WaW Der Riese) have glitches that can seriously alter the gameplay.

    8. If you disagree, please explain in the comments. I would love to see different opinions, and they may be better for my list.

*Now, for some background on each game.*

World at War: 2 Hits, limited perks, Pack a Punch only on one map. Guns are okay. Map layout is not very restrictive, except for Verruckt.

Black Ops: 2 Hits, a few perks, PaP on every map (except for most remasters). Guns are okay, or bad. Map layout of often quite open.

Black Ops 2: 2 Hits, many perks, PaP on most maps. Guns are okay, or good, or great. Map layout varies a lot.

Black Ops 3: 3 Hits, many perks, PaP on most maps (except for a few remasters). Guns are good, or great. Double PaP is available. Map layouts are often open, but can vary.

Black Ops 4: 4 Hits, massive amount of perks (but a new system), create a class, PaP on all maps, and Tag Der Toten has Golden PaP. Guns are okay, or good, or great. Map layouts vary in size and space.

    *The Actual List*

    1 1. BO2: Town

    1. BO3: Kino Der Toten

    2. BO3: The Giant

    3. BO3: Shi No Numa

    4. BO1: Kino Der Toten

    Gorod Krovi EE, no guide

    Posted: 13 Aug 2020 07:08 AM PDT

Me and my friend recently purchased GK and I've been loving the map so far. It seems like there's a lot of exploring to do and challenges that I haven't even gotten to yet. Played a couple matches so far and I think we're on our way to figuring out pack a punch.

I really enjoy doing Easter Eggs (only done The Giant, IX, and Origins so far). I kind of want to just really enjoy this map and take my time figuring things out. Saying that.. is it reasonable to try and figure out the EE steps without a guide? Are there any things I would definitely get stuck on (like ice puzzle in origins, or Ra puzzle/challenge in IX), that I would definitely need a guide for?

No spoilers please! Just tryna get an idea what % of this egg is doable just figuring it out yourself.
