Unpopular opinion: Cold War zombies is the most user friendly zombie experience so far Posted: 22 Jun 2021 01:55 AM PDT I've seen a lot of complaints on how CW zombies is not challenging enough, how easter eggs are too easy (even though Treyarch clearly explained why they decided to go this way), how vaulting makes evading zombies too easy, how the starting loadout reduces difficulty, how armor makes you too tanky and even how the wunderfizz is too easily reachable. The list of complaints could go on... I feel like those people who complain are overlooking some things:
I count myself in the "not enough time to git gud" category. The last zombies mode I played before CW was BO1. Then the game mode started feeling too repetitive (loadout customization worked miracles for me on this issue) and it took too much time to master while my play time was steadily decreasing. I know this opinion will be unpopular, I know that there are a lot of people who like to sweat over their zombies games. To them I'd like to say: appreciate the expanded pool of players rather than complaining that achieving something in Zombies is too easy. Also, there are a lot of good zombies game out there whose difficulty can be customized, try them out and give them a chance if CW feels too easy for you. [link] [comments]

FYI: IF you want a year 2 of Cold War, don’t blindly buy COD 2021. Posted: 22 Jun 2021 07:47 AM PDT I'm just putting this out here. This isn't a boycott/ petition against vanguard of 2021 cod but I'm just saying. Cold War zombies from a general community standpoint seems mostly favorable and loved but this community. I, myself included. It's definitely one of the best zombies experiences I've played since the BO3 days and I'd Treyarch is not lying, this is definitely BO3 levels of popularity. I know content is slow but we'll see if that content pace would be worth it once Berlin comes out, or "Maur Der Toten" (which already sounds like a kickass map) We're also getting classic WAW/BO1/BO2 guns back. Something BO3 zombies didn't 100% have. So that's pretty awesome. Gameplay mechanics is easily one of the best things ever to happen to zombies. Possibly rivals BO3 as well… So we have all these positive things. But now, how does not buying COD 2021 help with anything from this? Well a lot of positive things can happen. And we can learn from past experiences of how this can happen. So very short story: Sledgehammer made infinite warfare. It didn't really sell like hot cakes like most cod games. Which was concerning. It was also widely hated by the community and was just a generally mixed bag. Activison had to improve sales by selling MW remastered included with it. But it wasn't really enough to reach their goal. Because of this activison gave BO3 another year of development, allowing zombie chronicles and more multilayer weapons and content. In which we all know that could of not been more the right move. Then WW2 came along and that was also a mixed bag. Again, allowing BO3 somewhat another year of content by just adding more weapons and content. See the pattern? If you're truly a fan of Cold War zombies and want to see more, don't buy or support COD 2021. Buy something maybe to compete against it like battlefield, halo or back 4 blood. Just adds more salt to the wound. We all know anyways vanguard is going to be not the best cod game anyways due to its rough development and having less than a year of development or a little more than a year. I know there's a possibility this may have no affect at all considering MW19 didn't have a year 2 but it was rumored or argued that MW2 might be a huge update to MW19 instead of a game. (Which is very unlikely) and infinity ward doesn't really like to make second year content for their games. So if you really enjoy Cold War and it's zombie mode, don't buy or support COD 2021. No matter if it looks good or not. TL;DR: If people don't buy vanguard or cod 2021 it will be likely that Cold War will in fact get a handful of year 2 content… [link] [comments]

Really wish they'd let us choose which outbreak map to start with. Posted: 22 Jun 2021 09:43 AM PDT It wasn't that big of a problem when there was only 3, but now that they're adding more and more, you have even less chances of starting with the newest map, making the gathering of intel very tedious. It'd be great if you could select which outbreak map you wanna start with then the rest is random as usual. That way you could hop in the newest map right away, explore, gather the intel and become familiar with it. Right now it's 1 chance out of 6, yeah you can quit and restart in hopes of rolling the map you want but that is also extremely tedious. For example: im only missing 3 intels total and they're from season 3 so i wanna get on the map i need (sanatorium and duga) grab them then quit the match, but i keep getting something else and going through the process of completing the main objective only to be teleported to a map i don't wanna be in fills me with dread. Outbreak is fun.... It could just really be better with proper care. [link] [comments]

The prestige shop should put in legacy camos Posted: 21 Jun 2021 11:01 PM PDT titles says it all, there are very little legacy calling card that I care for and leaving me with a surplus keys and currently the only camos in the game are on blueprints and unlock challenges. Legacy camos would be more use since they could cover the gun regardless of attachments, unlike blue prints since you need all the attachments from the blueprints for the camo to cover the gun. MG82 max ammo capacity is incorrect? Posted: 22 Jun 2021 08:41 AM PDT I have MG82 with the final 150 round mag and it has 600 max ammo at the start. After I pack a punch it the max ammo is still 600. It stays exactly the same. Why doesn't it double? on other guns it doubles. I have a maxed out PPSH and at start its like 400 max ammo, after I pack a punch it goes to like 1100 max ammo. Anyone here notice this? Is Treyarch going to fix this issue? Thanks. [link] [comments]

They fixed the Respond option!!!! Posted: 22 Jun 2021 08:53 AM PDT At least for the Ravenov outbreak quest, if you accidentally don't hit respond on the beacon, you can still do it on the following round. This saves hours of wasted time. [link] [comments] |
