Zetsubou No Shima is a masterpiece

    Posted: 01 Oct 2019 09:01 AM PDT

Seriously. It's easily better than Gorod imo. One of the best maps to come out of BO3 right behind DE, and in ways, I actually prefer ZnS over DE. I'm not joking.

The planting system is surprisingly fun and new. Some people hate it, but personally it really does add a lot to the game. It keeps me busy each round, watering plants trying to get the golden bucket. Then once I do I continue watering trying to get my clone plant and perk bottles. Upgrading the KT-4 is also not that bad. It's a lengthy one, but at the end of the upgrade it's so worth it as the Masamune is so damn sexy.

The map itself also has a bit of a somber vibe to it. No it's not the scariest map ever like Blundell said, but you do get this depressing vibe from it. It's also a very beautiful map as well. The challenges aren't too hard, but can take some time to finish. Opening up power really isn't that hard as some people make it out to be. You fill up two labs with water, cut a web and flip the switch. Wow that's really hard isn't it?

The only issue I have with this map is the amount of Thrashers that spawn in. Holy shit do they just keep spawning and spawning and spawning in. They're fairly easy to kill but it gets annoying.

Zetsubou definitely isn't everyone's taste. I understand. It is a complex map with lots to do to get certain things. It's not a map you can just watch a few guides of and hop in. You'll probably need to watch a few guides a few times maybe especially for the planting system. I had to whip out the plant chart to see what water would make what type of plant.

Overall, Zetsubou is easily a 9/10. Your thoughts?

Black ops 4 themed calendar is 11 months of specialists and one month of zombies. Coincidence?

The most clutchest of easter egg completions only to be denied by the cutscene crash, but still, this was exciting

Please do Zombies Chronicles 2 for Black Ops 4 Treyarch

    Posted: 01 Oct 2019 06:51 AM PDT

I recently booted up my terrible PC and decided to play me some Black Ops II Zombies along with one of my friends. But it wasn't Mob of the Dead or even Origins. No, I decided to play some Tranzit. Looking back at it, is it really that bad of a map?

Oh god, undeniably. It's an atrocious map. No matter what blackopsamazing says, Tranzit is most definitely worse than Zetsubou no Shima, the latter which is one of my all-time favorite maps. But there was something so.... nostalgic about Tranzit. Hearing 'Lovesong for a Dead Man' and hearing all those quotes from Victis really brought me back to the past to when my disappointed 11-year-old self was playing Tranzit back in the year of 2012. It's been a crazy ride, and I'd absolutely love to relive those memories via a Zombies Chronicles 2, this time with the Victis crew. And no, I don't want them to add ZC2 to Black Ops 3 or Black Ops V. No, I want them to add it to Black Ops 4. If Treyarch truly meant it when they said that Black Ops 4 was the end for the Aether story as we know it, then they'll do ZC2 for Bo4. Don't you think it'd be a bit odd for them to not put it in 4? I mean, they have a lot of the assets used in the Bo2 Victis maps, like the Diner and Buried in Blackout, and the character models for Victis are in Bo4, so putting it in V would be absolutely out of place and nonsensical. Please Treyarch, a Zombies Chronicles 2 for Black Ops 4 would be amazing and a great sendoff for the Aether story.

    Ranking BO4’s EE

    Posted: 01 Oct 2019 09:11 AM PDT

    1. Voyage of Despair- Controversial I know, I hated the map and EE on launch, but one day I decided to sit down and just learn the map and it's EE, now I find it fun to do with a friend especially the boss fight.

    2. Dead of the Night- I'm a sucker for super solo friendly EEs and DotN is, by far, my favorite. It also helps that the WW is super useful once fully upgraded and I'm a sucker for classic monsters and having a giant werewolf was the cherry on top.

    3. Alpha Omega- Another solo friendly EE but having to write down 8 codes, 5 clock times and escorting that damned red crawler and orb hampered my enjoyment of it. But, I liked the Rushmore system with the codes and came around to liking the boss fight (When the game didn't crash)

    4. Ancient Evil- I know most would put this as the better Chaos EE and in some aspects it is, but I just couldn't get into it. I enjoyed some of it don't get me wrong, the hit your marks step is a great step and that ending cutscene makes me hope there's a future for Chaos, but I felt that I always knew something was up with the oracle so it didn't take me by surprise when it was revealed who she really was.

    5. IX- It's a great map by itself but I just find the EE boring except for the boss arena. There's not much else I can think of other than "meh".

    6. Tag der Toten- Cool Victis is back, but for the final map? Really? But the EE is okay at best ( When it works properly) and having the map change to a stark red towards the end was a neat feature. I just can't get over the fact that it's Victis, I'm glad they're back but it's kind of sad not being able to play as either primis or ultimis for the finale, though I understand why.

    7. Blood of the Dead- one word, Tedious. The whole thing starts of great but that bird step and the many ghost side quest part slows it down for me. Doesn't help that the boss fight isn't anything special unless you're Richthofen where there is a pretty cool sequence with that hidden Cryo-Pod.

    8. Classified Round 150- Absolutely not, especially if there's no super EE or even a trophy/ achievement for it. I don't feel like playing a 12+ hour match just to see a cutscene that also on YouTube, Kudos if you did it cause you have more endurance than I ever will for something like that.

How would you rank them now that the season is over (possibly)?

    Zombie Chronicle's II

    Posted: 01 Oct 2019 10:31 AM PDT

I've heard alot of talk about budget cuts and it's had me worried. I'm aware many assets and map elements have already been made, hence blackout locations, but will the zombie team still be able to pump out Chronicles II?

    Budget cuts

    Posted: 01 Oct 2019 06:39 AM PDT

Im not sure if this has been mentioned here, but I've heard alot about budget cuts for the Final map in the black ops pass. My frustration lies in the fact that we were presold this pass on the promise of regular content over the course of the last 12 months and the content has been few and far between.

The amount of content with have is good, I thoroughly enjoyed IX, Dead of the Night, Alpha Omega and so far Tag Der Toten, but when I paid $100AUD for the game and then an additional $64.95 to access the content I'm fairly annoyed that they cop out with the last map and blame budget cuts.

We invested our money in content with the expectation of a certain level of quality and polish and while I enjoy the most of the content it lacks in ways previous versions didn't.

Nostalgia and the end of Aether Cycle aside, I Would love to hear others opinions on this and whether you believe you have value for money on content.

I find it very annoying that old zombie windows that you could repair, you are unable to repair on this map

Such a Simple yet ingenious feature of WW2 Zombies. Would be a great addition to Bo4

I had to read out a monologue, and as a final hoorah. I decided to read out Nikolai's end speech from the tag outro.
