    Gorod Krovi Valkyrie escort?

    Posted: 21 Dec 2019 11:50 AM PST

Hey guys, I've recently been trying to do the GK EE solo, and I'm always getting stuck on the Valkyrie escort. I don't have any of the Undead Man Walking GGs, so I've just been using Monkey bombs and hoping to land that objective on a low round. Any tips? I'm usually always getting this objective around round 18 and it's the bane of my existence rn

Did Blaze Phase Get Nerfed Upon Release?

    Posted: 20 Dec 2019 07:59 PM PST

Here is some relevant gameplay of the perk: https://youtu.be/OhY7wHcRlhE (perk usage at 1:06)

In this video, when the person crouches to activate Blaze Phase, there doesn't seem to be a "charge" period that must take place before you can fling yourself forward. I'm not referring to the 45 second cooldown the perk has but instead to the one second or so "delay" that you must stay crouched for the perk to utilise it's ability.

In my experience, you can't just double tap the crouch button and be flung forwards. Instead, I must crouch, wait a second, then stand up via the same button to be flung forwards. Was it nerfed of am I seeing this wrong?

Thank you for your time. :)

Anyone else notice the sudden influx of the gang memes again

    Posted: 20 Dec 2019 05:19 PM PST

Everywhere I go I see gangs virusly declare this post was made by the so and so gang and it's made me nostalgic for the original m14 vs Olympia gang memes. I wonder is anyone else seeing these on the rise again?

So, I had an idea regarding Weapon Kits...

    Posted: 21 Dec 2019 08:15 AM PST

Personally, I'm not a fan of the Weapon Kits in Zombies. I feel they provide too unfair an advantage to players who grind like crazy, and prevents people from having a fair experience. Maybe you don't feel the same way, but I had an idea regardless.

What if, in order to balance the Zombies mode weapon kits, the wall-buy price of modded weapons went up depending on how many mods the weapon had equipped on it? Therefore adding a risk/reward mechanic, in a sense.

Newer players will want the cheaper weapons to get good stuff earlier into the round, whereas experienced players who know Zombies well will be able to hold out for the better, more personalised guns.

What do you all think? I personally think this system could work well!

5 Valuable Tips for CoD Mobile Zombies (Shi no Numa)

    Posted: 20 Dec 2019 02:58 PM PST

Level 60 player here. Crafted the Abomination J358 and the Lava Axe. Only 3 shards away from unlocking Tank Dempsey. I've been playing almost every day since the mode came out. Here are some tips and advice that I have for the many zombie players out there struggling to even break 50 kills and complaining about the zombies being too tanky. They definitely are way too tanky and need to be tweaked, but I manage to get 200+ kills and no deaths in almost every online Raid match I play. So, here are my 5 most valuable and (in my experience) extremely underutilized tips for other players out there.

    1. Open up the underground lab area (the Zetsubou no Shima portion of the map) as soon as possible.

Why? You get access to two perk machines down there, without having to spend the 4000 points you would normally need to open up the path to two of the four outer huts. You will also have access to a PDW-57 wallbuy down there (more on wallbuys later).

You can do this on Round 1. Cogs will be lying on shelves, boxes, tables, or the floor all around the central building. They won't be in the spawn room itself, so you'll have to open the first door (700 points). Once you pick up 2 cogs, just bring them up to the elevator on the upper balcony of the central building, where the zipline would have normally been. Repair the elevator with the two cogs and you can now use it to go down to the underground lab. This also happens to be the first step of the Easter Egg, but that is irrelevant for this.

    2. Upgrade your buffs.

No, I mean, really upgrade them. From speaking to the countless randoms I've played with online, it appears to me that many players don't realize you can upgrade your buffs past level 5. I see too many players horde up their points and it's already the end of Round 12, right before the Raid boss. There is no way you can get enough points to get all three of your buffs to level 10 by Round 12, and I can clearly see on the scoreboard that they didn't.

Once you have gotten all three of your buffs to level 5, you can then start randomly upgrading them past level 5 by pressing the newly unlocked button at the bottom of the buff store menu, next to your third buff. This is how you start dealing serious damage. Emphasis on start. There is more to efficiently slaying the undead.

    3. Stop using the mystery box. Buy the 1500 point wall weapons. (PDW-57, AK117, Type 25, BK57)

None of the guns in there besides the Ray Gun and the RPD are good. Heck, they aren't even that good. The Ray Gun does f*ck all against the Raid bosses, has very little ammo, and Double Tap will not up its damage, despite depleting 2 shots at once like any other weapon. The RPD takes forever to reload, it slows down your movement speed too much (proves to be fatal in the Raid boss fight), and you can't buy ammo for it (this flaw is mitigated in the Raid boss fight, which provides you infinite reserve ammo).

The 1500 point wallbuys are by far the best weapons (besides the Lava HG40) in the mode right now. They deal incredible damage, have large mag sizes, and have a lot of ammo in reserve. And you can keep buying ammo for them off the wall. The AK117 appears to be the best out of the four. These weapons combined with the previous tip and the next one will allow you to deal serious damage. The zombies may be tanks compared to true Treyarch style zombies, but no longer will you be needing to buy ammo for the HG40 five times in order to kill a single zombie.

    4. Buy Double Tap Root Beer and Deadshot Daquiri.

How did they f*ck up Double Tap, but absolutely NAIL Deadshot? Anyways, despite Double Tap making you expend ammo much faster, you are still killing zombies way faster than without it. And technically, you aren't really losing anything (unless you're using the Ray Gun).

But holy sh*t. Deadshot is amazing in CoD Mobile. It's not aim assist. It's not even auto aim. It is straight up aim bot. If you want to be doing any real damage, you need to be getting headshots, which isn't exactly the easiest thing on a mobile device. Deadshot will do all the work for you for a low cost of 1500 points. By the way, zombies tend to flinch heavily when you first hit them, forcing you to miss follow-up headshots. I suggest periodically just tap fire into your horde before mag-dumping into them.

    5. Stop turning on the traps.

This last tip isn't exactly meant to improve your zombie killing experience like the previous four. However, I find players constantly feeling the need to waste their points to kill the only three zombies chasing them and possibly an unaware teammate.

I understand that the zombies can feel like absolute tanks, but the previous four tips should be enough to make you feel like you don't need the instant kill potential of the traps. The exceptions being the higher rounds on Survival of course. And Brutus. My god, he is such a buggy nuisance and needs to be exterminated immediately.
