    Black Ops 3

    Posted: 05 Aug 2020 10:00 AM PDT

I have played every black ops zombies besides 3 for some reason I absolutely love watching gameplay on it and looks like it could be my favorite one. I have the disc but unfortunately it stopped working on my ps4

Should I rebuy the game with all maps so it would amount to around $100 on ps4??

The main reason im debating it is because the ps5 drops soon and possible cold war

    Opinion on bo4

    Posted: 05 Aug 2020 11:05 AM PDT

I've been thinking for a while and I decided that bo4 wasn't a bad game but not a good black ops game. What I mean is that games like bo3 had high expectations and exceeded those expectations, I personally enjoyed ww2 because it had low expectations and it was enjoyable even though it didn't even meet its low expectations. In conclusion bo4 was a bad game coming from treyarch but it would've been a good game from someone else. Opinions?

Possibly the Coolest Game-Related Dream I’ve Had Opens an Important Zombies Discussion

    Posted: 05 Aug 2020 10:44 AM PDT

TL;DR at the end if you don't want to read all of this. As we all know by now, Warzone is set to be the main avenue through which Activision directs information regarding the next CoD title. In this unprecedented move for the franchise, we can expect to see plenty of little easter eggs building up to the official announcement of Call of Duty 2020. We've already seen a small shack with an RC-XD, a bunker containing sensitive Cold War-era info, and an old nuclear warhead. With all of this in mind, I believe we'll get our first look at zombies somewhere on the Verdansk map, and this is where my dream comes into play. I don't remember where on the map I was, but I believe it was a new bunker seeing as how it was underground. In this area of the map, we had to enter a code given to us through hints on the map. Upon successful entry of the code, a black door hissed as it opened up. There was an intricate design of circles and half-circles on the onyx door, and it seemed to be just as reflective as it was matte. Within the small room hidden behind it, there was a control panel being dotted and sporadically lit by colorful buttons all over, producing quiet electronic beeping and static as it cycled through. On the floor lay a large, circular, glowing platform alternating between waves of yellow and blue, calling toward me as a familiar yet alien device that I had become so accustomed to over the years. I stepped onto the platform and held F on the panel, which caused a sudden burst of light to fill the room as sparks shot out of the control panel and white beams started filling my vision. Suddenly, a bright flash changed the environment entirely. It was dark. Somehow, the feeling of isolation washed over me, and the visuals felt cold. I turned 180 degrees and found myself looking out of a large window at Earth. When my eyes met with the blue marble, the iconic Zombies round start vocals rang in my ears before the teleporter brought me back to Verdansk.

    ————————————————————————————————————

So I know this a really drawn out way to explain my dream that I just woke up from, but I needed to build the anticipation I felt as I interacted with the Verdansk environment trying to find clues for the upcoming CoD. I went ahead and posted this here because it opens a very real and very serious discussion regarding the future of Zombies. A lot of people want a continuation of Chaos, and a lot of people want something else entirely. However, this dream has made me think of the new Call of Duty title in a new light. If the rumor mill is true, we'll be going back to the Cold War to do a soft reboot of the Black Ops franchise, similar to how 2019's Modern Warfare treated the MW franchise. With this being the case, we can expect to see a lot of familiar faces in the campaign, multiplayer, and Warzone. This also makes it very likely that whatever Zombies is offering, it will be using Cold War-era assets. Enter Black Ops 1 and the Zelinsky storyline. For a lot of us Zombies boomers, the Zelinsky storyline is held in high regard for its perfect blend of ideas grounded in reality and existing paranormal Nazi conspiracies. That's what made it so special. The groundwork was already there and it felt real because the conspiracies about the Nazi's already existed due to the SS having such an obsession with the occult IRL. Also for a lot of us Zombies boomers, Moon marks the end of what could be the best Zombies arc to ever grace a CoD title. From Nacht to Moon, players were taken on a wild ride that felt driven, focused, and intentional. It all culminated in a fantastic, albeit RNG heavy, easter egg that granted us with a jaw-dropping visual as we stood in awe of what we had done from the Moon's surface. Following this arc, the community remains split to this day on how the rest of Zombies played out. This is where the Soft Reboot comes in. Treyarch undoubtedly watches this subreddit. With that being said, whoever the new director for Zombies is probably took some feedback from the community regarding the Zombies storyline to see if meshed well with their vision. With a Soft Reboot on the horizon, I'm sure the team had to decide between a new story or a reboot of Aether. With the story from Nacht - Moon being told ad nauseam, the next step would be to take over from Moon and shift things from there. This isn't too dissimilar from Spider-Man Homecoming starting after Uncle Ben already died and Parker learned his powers. My question to you, the community, is how would you feel if this were the case? If Aether got a reboot, beginning with Moon and forking off in an entirely new path than we've seen before, would you be interested? I know we all want something fresh and new, and if Treyarch can deliver I'm all for it. I hold IW Zombies in high standing because of how well they changed so much while retaining the core gameplay of Zombies, so I'm open to new ideas and stories. But given the reboot nature of the next CoD, what do you think of this? I want to have a real discussion about this as this is the turning point for me where the Zombies storyline went from perfectly enjoyable and mysterious to increasingly ridiculous (with some exceptions here and there). Thanks for taking the time to read this, I look forward to discussing this below :)

TL;DR Black Ops 2020 soft reboot of the Aether story beginning with Moon and forging an entirely new path for the crew.

Im so confused with the story.. Tried watching videos explaining his journey.

In BO1 wasnt he a nazi scientist? Why is he no longer a Nazi? Judging by his change of uniform he looks like a normal guy..

    A origins bo3 camping strategy i made

    Posted: 05 Aug 2020 10:15 AM PDT

this is a strategy that i made, for when ur playing with 2-3 buddies and you want to camp. so what you want to do, is get Immolation liquidation, everybody get points and everyone gets mule kick and jugg and their staff as third weapon, and everyone goes to a box, keep ur mauser and try to get the following weapons: ray gun mk2, l4 siege, mgo8/ dempseys lmg or the dingo . then, if you get any of these weapons ur good to go. if you or one of youre teammates doesnt get any of these weapons, then do the magna collider ee. if you still have your mauser then pack a punch it, lightning should have turned, since lightning staff should get you out of trouble, and turned will keep the zombies away in the linear area. if 4 players, wind should get something that protects him, since wind is bad , fr example dead wire. i wouldnt recommend anyone getting thunder wall. fire works only 1 shot kills until round 70 i believe. recommended stuff: g strike, widows wine, double tap, electric cherry, speed cola , thunder fist or even maybe iron fist, And VERY RECOMMENDED : Alchemichal anthesis classic gobblegum. now if you are ready, and you double packed every weapon, and got perks and everything, head to gen 2 and call the tank. you want to head to the 2nd piece location of the lightning staff in the middle of the excavation sitev. this is possible in 1 go, just have players standing on the weird metal thing. once everyone is in the tunnel, you can start. i would suggest the ice staff player to shoot between the 2 spawns , since the zombies come slowly. if you do this on bo2, then use the upgraded thunderfist, or the elemental knife since they are OP you can use it on the ledge, its pretty easy . then , when ice runs out of ammo, and only has 2 or 1 clip, wind staff player should fire the staff, while lightning fires the turned, its going to help, by keeping the zombies away. after that, (If you still dont have any ammo, you can send two players down, and one keeps the zombie, one digs all digsites up, so they have a chance to get a max ammo, then they can return with the tank) then if wind runs out, fire should shoot and sometimes lightning. if fire runs out, then you should start using the boomhildas, but NOT ALL OF THE AMMO (important for panzer) and all the lmgs, or l4 siege. if you then dont get any ammo, let ice use alchemichal anthesis and regain all of the ammo and just use alchemichal until it runs out, but make sure that the staff is full at the end of the alchemichal anthesis. if you THEN RUN OUT OF AMMO and you did everything possible, then Idk what is happening with ur power ups. When the panzer comes, then throw a g- strike AT THE UPPER SIDE of the plank, not in the tunnel, or a monkey, and spam the boomhilda, l4 siege, ray gun mk2 and the fire staff at the panzer. thats all of the strategy, you can also use some other gobblegums, like idle eyes, for when the panzer comes, or a power vacuum. thats all for the strategy, if something i wrote is wrong, then please correct me. i only tried this once with my buddies, and we sadly disconnected, and they didnt want to try again, so if anyone wants to do this on bo3 ps4 , then i would gladly do it

Imagine if Sony and Activision pulled the same shit as last year.

    Posted: 04 Aug 2020 03:49 PM PDT

Imagine they made Zombies a 1 year exclusivity to PS5. I could see it happening, Activision don't give a fuck as long as Sony pay out huge, which they could do.

I really hope Zombies comes to all platforms. I don't think this would happen, but it is possible.

    Just baseless speculation though

Bo3 Liquid Divinium glitch on PC??

    Posted: 05 Aug 2020 08:37 AM PDT

Does the LD glitch where you do the daily challenge up to 99/100 then dc Ethernet cable and plug back in work on PC? I tried it but with steam when you log back in and click zombies its instantaneous there is no black screen or window to disconnect your cable and I get challenge completed. I was wondering if it works on PC or if i'm doing it wrong. I did it with mobile hotspot first and I didn't get it to work. Would appreciate it if someone could link a video of the tutorial completed on pc.
